Simple Acai Smoothie Bowl To Jump Start Your Morning

Start your morning off right with this acai bowl. The delicious flavours of berries and other fruit will have you looking forward to this breakfast. Add your favourite toppings and enjoy it with a spoon!

Acai bowls are all the rage at the moment because not only are they delicious and healthy but are great on a hot summers days like we are having now in Australia.

Making one of these bowls is so easy, buy some acai, fruit and non-dairy milk, blend it all together and add your favourite toppings.

While you can use acai powder, I much prefer the frozen acai packets. They seem to have much more flavour. The ones I buy are by the brand Creative Gourmet, and you can buy them at most Coles and Woolworth stores as well as some other independent stores. However, if you can't find that brand, there will hopefully be another one at your local store.

Here are just some of the reasons I love this acai bowl; it is:

  • Vegan

  • Gluten-Free

  • Packed with antioxidants

  • Naturally sweetened with whole fruit

Acai Smoothie Bowl


  • Half a frozen acai puree pack

  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries

  • 1/2 cup frozen mango

  • 1/2 cup frozen banana

  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries

  • 1/2 cup almond milk


Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Pour into a bowl straight away and top with your favourite toppings. e.g. granola, fresh fruit and seeds.
