Exercise Of The Week: Side Shuffle with Knee Hold

This weeks exercise is side shuffle with knee hold. This is a beginner cardio exercise that focuses on your abs, hips, glutes and quads. The best part is it doesn't need any equipment.

How to do the side shuffle with knee hold:

  • Take small, quick steps to the side.

  • Try to get in as many steps as possible in the width of your mat.

  • When you reach the edge of your mat, pause, bringing your inside knee up to waist level.

  • Place back down and repeat back to the other side of the mat.

Tips for side shuffle with knee hold:

  • Do not let your arms sit still at your side. Pump them during the exercise.

  • Keep a slight bend in your knees throughout the entire exercise.
